Quick & Easy Polar Fleece Earwarmers

needed:

  • 1 yd polar fleece
  • this will make approx 4 earwarmers (depending on fabric width)
  • serger
These are probably best done on a serger (3 thread is fine) with woolly nylon in both loopers and the needle (for stretchability).

helpful:

  • rotary cutter and mat (makes for quick cutting)

  • Cut your fabric 9" wide by 22 - 24 inches long (test one from your fabric to determine the length). The greatest amount of stretch should be with the longer cut as it will be the part that goes around the head.

  • Fold, right sides together, and serge the seam to form a tube approx 4" wide. Turn right side out.

  • With the seam in the center back of the turned tube, steam flat. Serge the short ends together and, voila!, you should be done.
